Adult Individual

Psychotherapy

I understand life often feels overwhelming and it can be a struggle with stress or other intense emotions. There are many different methods that I may use to help you deal with the issues with which you are struggling. I use a collaborative process based on trust and an expectation of positive change.

Some examples of Comments/Questions/Statements that you might be asking yourself or dealing with, might include:

  • Why does my partner, family members, etc. treat me so poorly?

  • Why does everyone walk all over me?

  • Do I even have a purpose?

  • I just can't take it any more; I'm in my head all the time.

  • I feel sad or down a lot; nobody cares; will I ever feel better?

  • I get really anxious and can’t turn off those worries.

  • I have experienced awful things in my past, I don’t know how to overcome any of them.

  • I don’t know how to help my child; am I making it worse?

  • I have an adolescent that has been diagnosed with a mental health disorder and I feel like I’m their punching bag.

  • How do I connect with my adolescent?

  • I self-harm and have suicidal ideations regularly.

  • I don’t know how to cope; I act irrational.

  • I have or use to have a drug addiction, I think (or I know) I need help.
